Insomnia

Well it's 2am in England - and I can't sleep again. Do any of you have that problem? I sometimes can't sleep and I sneak downstairs, turn on the wireless internet, and surf! I hate not sleeping, but it gives me a chance to catch up with voting on everyones pages!
I keep meaning to print off all my favourites to use as a book of inspiration. I wonder if what you can tell from a persons favourites? if its a glimpse of their personality perhaps?

I am so please with my Coffee Bubbles page - not my usual style but the photo dictated to me if you see what I mean.... And I love the poem - Ilvoe the sentiment behind it!
Oh well maybe I should try to sleep. Good night.

Just Musing on voting again.....this time the Show of your LO skills Challenge

I was just looking at all the wonderufl LO in the "Show of your LO skills" challenge and am bemused. How does everyone decide on challenge votes v votes on the page its self?? The current winner by Love flowers has 255 points (149 challenge points), current 2nd place has 270 points (147 challenge points) and current 3rd place by Fanceeflair had 350 and 145 challenge points.
Based on this fanceeflairs should be more popular than the other two..... (there are other pages with much higher scores in the challenge.) Just musing - it doesn't make sencse to me - does any one else understand the dynamics..... Just musing.....
Maybe I just think too much.....

The Say thanks Challenge

I know I only just posted my first blog - but I think this might be addictive!
I have just revisited the Say Thanks challenge to update my voting. And I wnat to know how on earth you decide on what points to give??? - I find it sooooo hard not to give every page 10 points because - after all the sentiment behind it is the same - We all want to say thanks for those wonderful comments and feelings that every leaves on our pages. I just want to say again - thank you all! I don't get a chance to say thanks for every comment on my pages - I work and then I come home and comment on YOUR pages!

So -
Thank you again every one of you who has encouraged me with your comments on my LO's. I am inspired by yoyr pages and your comments on my pages. Feel free to make constructive suggestions on how I could improve a page. I still feel like a beginner just learning to walk. and I think I always will as I have very high standards for my self!

Anway - back to voting on challenge entries - I make a point of trying to every page posted a mark - even those posted at the last minute - I want everyone to have a fair chance - not just my friends! oh dear I;m waffleing again - must be time for bed.....

Invigilating Exams

Well, I'm sitting at my computer in college, setting up exams for my Cisco networking students. And then being very quite while they complete the exam under exam conditions. Hmmm what shall I do while they are busy....??? I know - visit my favourite scrapbook site and look at some wonderful pages. I'm always looking for inspiration.
I'm one of those people who need something to "bounce off" to get my inspiration. And just occasionally I have an original idea and run with it - not as often as I'd like though.
I spend hours every day on my laptop or on the computer at work. (Working in the computing department makes it far too easy to clik that link again......) I never knew until I found scrap book flair that there was an enourmous community out there of fanatics like me and the wealth of free stuff to help the creative process.

This week I have been absolutely stunned at the points recieved by my Dream page. I would really love to know why you all think it stands out from the crowd as it where. Srapping is so addictive - particularly when you lot out there are soo soo encouraging and supportive. YOu are such good friends. hmmmm now I'm getting all mushy - it must be time to go.... Oh and the students have finished the exam. Time to do a post mortem on what they got wrong.
