About this scrapbook page: |
In 1967 while stationed in Germany we went to Berlin on the Troop Train which had to travel through Communist Germany. While walking the Berlin Wall, in Berlin, I took this picture through the wall of two young boys playing in their back yard. This was before the Wall was tore down and there are many reminders along the wall of those who tried to escape but met untimely death. Today there is NO Wall and the East Germans have their freedom.

thank you for NOT "leaving it in the past" Just as the holocaust it should NOT be forgotten. We are all who we are because of this particular cold war era. If forgotten, it will happen again? I was there in '80's, rode the troop train, very intimidating, glad my kids exper. it because when came to States their friends here did not believe wall was real. Truth sets us free, very often! Good 4 YOU!
