The picture used on this page is of my father on the steps of his Great Northern Railroad Caboose giving the All Aboard Signal. Dad was with the Great Northern Railroad for 53 years and was the oldest conductor in seniority when he retired. My first train ride with him occurred when I was six weeks old.
