This is my husband's great, great grandmother. She came to Australia in 1858 at the age of 12 with her family. The ship "Mary Pleasants" almost sank just as they arrived near Sydney. That must have been frightening for her. She lived to the age of 95yrs. this was taken only a few years before she died in 1941.

The small bible is from Vintage 1900 which is a free download from DigiFree Search Engine and the Kit is just called Old Papers and it is also from DigiFree. The string tie is from a Kit called Vintage Whispers by Chris Young/Heavely Scraps. Thanks to all these generous designers for their gifts. The burnt edges of the paper is made using the burn tool in Adobe PSE 4
