The top photograph is pretty much the view of the Reek that we get looking out of our living room window which faces West..we don't get to see the statue at the foot of the mountain though as we are about 30 miles away. In these pics people are gathering on Reek Sunday, the last Sunday in July, to make the pilgrimage to the top where Mass is said all day long in the tiny Chapel there.

Oh this brings back memories. Proud to say i too climbed the Reek. you'd NEVER get me doing it barefoot though! great pages mum! beats the dozens of cars outside my window!

Fantastic pages AM, loved taking every step of the way with you and David, in fact would love to do it for real and have a look round myself. Just turn the thermostat up to 30 so I don't freeze and I'll hop on over.
