Betty Amann (1905 –1990) Born in Germany to American parents, Betty Amann grew up in the United States. 1926, she began her film career in the USA. Arriving in the wake of Louise Brooks, in 1928 a producer discovered her talent for the German film industry. Since 1931, she worked in England (With Alfred Hitchcock). One of her last appearances in the German film was in 1933 after that she emigrated to the United States. Her last role in 1943.
