SISSI:Elisabeth of Bavaria(1837-1898)was Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary and Bohemia as spouse of Francis Joseph I.The couple were married in Vienna (she was 17 years-with her maternal first cousin!) in 1854.Elisabeth was considered to be a free spirit who abhorred conventional court protocol.She became known not only for her beauty,but for her fashion sense,diet and exercise regimens(to maintain her 20-inch waistline),passion for riding sports,and a series of reputed lovers.

Last night I thought of you watching tv, a program about the only DIVA we have in this country. She is 90 and still a stunningly beautiful woman. Actress, with great merits behind her. I thought...
