Picture of May Allison: April 1925 - The photo comes from the cover of a magazine: Photoplay (“The national Guide Of Motion Picture/ 25 cents…) one of the first American film fan magazines. It was founded in 1911 in Chicago.The same year a similar magazine entitled Motion Picture Story was founded. Photoplay merged with another fan magazine, Movie Mirror, in 1941. The magazine ceased publication in 1980. I am allowed to change the colors carefully.
