About this scrapbook page:
Made in Paint Shop Pro X. My first scrapbook page I have published, but surely there will be more.
The reason is my first grand-daughters birth the 18th of December.
Have the pocket, heart, eyelet, bow, and backgrund as transparent png if someone is interested. Just send me a note.
Enjoy

Thank you for joining the critique me challenge. You have all the elements of a great page in the wrong places. I think the picture would stand out more if it were larger. Try moving the elements around to accent the picture more. Also, I would get a more intricate word art.

I love the paper. I think the font for a newborn baby girl could be softer, more frilly. Also, to add warmth to the page put the baby's name, date of birth and something personal. Great page for a first timer!!

Congratulations on the birth of your first granddaughter!

I would like to say I think the "Critique Me" Challenge is a super idea for learning... I like the paper that you chose for your page and the elements, perhaps as suggested, enlarging your photo and including a little more journalling ie. birthdate, name etc would be nice. Very sweet page!

I agree that the font is all wrong, maybe even more text would be great. The picture should be the main focus, not the embellishments.

Fantastic first page. Welcome to the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking!

Here's my critique for the challenge:
When you're creating a digital page, the depth and position of your shadows will affect the realism of the appearance. Try to use "universal light" meaning that all the shadows are positioned as though a single light source was shining on the page.
