About this scrapbook page:
The disaster on The Horn of Africa (Somalia) is indescribable due to civil war and drought. The rainy season is overdue and people are on the run and the worst affected are the children. I must say I was deeply touched when I saw the news on TV yesterday from a refugee camp in Kenya. Therefore, I decided to create this page, I hope I not offend anyone with it.We can help to save someone's life

Thanks for looking and for your c/v which I always treasure very much

Not offended a bit, but so sad. We, here in America, are so very blessed and don't even have an inkling of the suffering others go thru. Even though we're going thru our own crisis right now it's nothing compared to those poor little ones over there. God bless your for showing us once again that 2/3 of our world are in terrible need. Great page, Pelle.

Thanks Iain, Yes we are there for 3 months every year but the drought is over for Uganda as it recently rained and although crops have been destroyed or failed they are in a better position than these souls.. Not out of the woods but...
Pelle - your page is so thought provoking and it was images like these that sparked our involvement. God bless you for your hopes and your caring heart. Diane x

Thank you Pelle for posting this heart wrenching page. It is the children who suffer in these times - but it's always hard to know what we ordinary people can do to help. Those who can will hopefully take heed.
