Caddo Lake, Uncertain, TX
A nice side benefit when our friends come from out of town is that we get to play tourist in our own community. Since it was only in the 80’s (in the middle of July!), we all went for a boat tour of Caddo Lake. The only naturally occuring lake in Texas and the largest Cypress Forest in the world, Caddo has an otherworldly ethereal sort of beauty. It was a truly lovely day.
