In 1959 I went to work in the Middle East and there I met the man I married. Since the day I met the women in his family I was taught to belly-dance and have been doing it ever since. This is an old photo, but even now, at this age, (almost 70...!) I'm STILL giving live performances at least once a week. Long live the dance...! Nadia in Perth, Western Australia

Keep it up Nadia! I must admit that having lived in the Middle East, I only have to hear that certain sort of music, and I wish I could still do that too. I fear I would now do myself a severe mischief! Takes some doing just to stand up straight some days haha! x
