On my recent weekend get-a-way to Cambria, CA, I noticed these Calif. wild poppies growing out of the gutter & had to take a photo of them. Amazing, how healthy they were & also that they are growing out of season too.

Great picture -- I always love seeing flowers growing like this. When I lived in Portland Or in my neighborhood sunflowers were growing in the cracks in the sidewalk and street.
