O Holy Night (Cantique de Noël)is my absolute favorite.Composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem "Minuit, chrétiens" by Placide Cappeau. Though now passed, each time I hear this it brings back warm & vivid memories of my mother singing this at midnight mass each year. She was blessed with the most remarkable voice; unfortunately I was not so blessed & just play/listen to it singing along in my heart. Slightly animated - click enlarge to view if you wish.
