About this scrapbook page: |
For the Fabulous Forties. The Battle of Britain is commemorated each year in the UK on September 15th. In addition to 2341 British airmen that participated in the battle, there were some 595 non-British pilots that joined the RAF and fought. (It is estimated that by the commemoration in 2010 their numbers were down to 90 remaining veterans)

This is awesome Mike, with the map of the UK and the newspapers along with the plane blended in to beautifully! My hubby's Mom lived through a bombing in I think it was Sandringham (?) she sent pictures to us of their place...it must have been horrendous! Your page is so well done!
