This page was inspired by the quote 'I'm not an environmentalist, I'm an Earth Warrior' by Darryl Cherney. This is my Earth Warrior for the 'Elements - Earth' challenge

I started off with an old map of the world on which I placed an extracted planet earth. The upper part behind my flaming warrior is a blended photo of the Waitomo Caves in NZ. These are amazing caverns filled with stalgmites & stalagtites. I visited them when I was younger & I have never forgotten how they make you feel as though you are in the heart of the earth. So from deep within the earth rises my warrior to protect the environment. I finished it off with a light embossing.
