| About this scrapbook page: |
My Mother was such and wonderful and courageous woman. I always admired her for her love and compassion. But it wasn’t until later in her life I realized what a truly amazing and courageous woman she was. In 1973 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a radical mastectomy. Almost 30 years later she was diagnosed with advanced bone cancer. She lived six more years. She was a survivor! She taught me how to live and how to die. She is and will always be my model of courage. Miss You Mom!
