Excellent choice of artist and painting. This is one of Vermeer's two townscape paintings and I like it because it shows the best of Vermeer - a serene sense of compositional balance and spatial order, unified by an almost pearly light. I find beautiful poetry in vermeer's paintings. i like the way you scrapped it too. the insets showing the details of this painting is a nice touch, 10+10!
