About this scrapbook page: |
Lalibela, Ethiopia is known for its stone hewn churches. The Orthodox Christian priests live in and protect these wonders. There are many secrets hidden in these holy places. Many of the stone churches are fully painted on the inside walls and ceilings. They also contain many paintings that are important to their religions and cultural beliefs.
