I advocate for orphans with Special Needs, who are listed with the Reece's Rainbow ministry. [Since taking in 2 grandchildren 2 mos. ago, my advocation time has been almost nil. Today I learned this little one is slated for transfer earlier than most. It is my hope/prayer someone will see him and find they can be his parents.

UPDATE ON TY: Reece's Rainbow, the organization that helps find families for these children have an Angel Tree each Christmas...this AM awoke to find that a FAMILY has COMMITTED to adopt him. It will be a long process....but all prayers would be appreciated.

"Why the mental institution"? Ty's in Eastern Europe where special needs aren't accepted. Children are generally given up at birth. The orphanages are located remotely and behind fences/gates, not to be seen through. If not adopted by ages 4, 5, 6 they are sent to the mental institutions where they literally waste away.

Your pages are so special.. I hope and pray that Ty finds someone to love him.. I just want to grab him and bring him home... So sad.. All praise to the people trying to find these gorgous kids a home.. They need it, and it if wasnt for you all, they waould all end up 'lost boys'.. :)
