Our hands are special, and these are very special hands belonging to my mother: 85 years young, still cooks, gardens, cuts her own yard, cares for her children, grand children and great grandchildren ... She was a wonderful wife to my Dad who passed away 30 years ago ... My Mom is a child of God ... she makes the best biscuits with these hands on her old fashioned wood stove ... I'm going to NC to see her Tuesday and if I am lucky, Mamma's hand will roll me some biscuits ... YUM!

This photo was taken Mother's Day ... a couple of us kids came home with spending the nigh with Mom she insisted on cooking breakfast for all - her home made biscuits are to die for ... she had no idea I was taking photos of her hands working ... her hands have a lot of character and so much love . some day she will pass (however she is in good health) but I always want to remember Mamma's hands
