About this scrapbook page: |
Here we have another page of John's Uncle Bob and the lovely garden he created. Despite his dissability he has worked very hard, even in his retirement. We think he well deserved the prize he won for this garden. Well done Uncle Bob! We love the way he used the old milk churn and the root cutter, or mangel cutter. He is an inspiration to us all.

This morning, the sky takes the color of lead; it was stained by dark masses. Eddies of garish crows. The colors were not pleasant and had nothing to do with golden fields of Van Gogh, overflown by the crows. The vibrant colors, balanced, I found them in your gallery. Your pages brighten up my day and make me forget the black clouds that ride all day. I think we have a winter in black and white.
