About this scrapbook page: |
I have always loved poetry, and written some myself, but this is from a little book which I bought a few years ago in a charity shop. The words seem quite appropriate in todays 'intolerant' world.

Created with Scrapbook Flair software. The poem is from a book called "Light At Eventide" by Kathleen Partridge. I used a kit called Emerald Beauty which I found at Scrap Depot, but I am afraid I cannot remember who created it, so "Thankyou" to the designer for that beautiful kit. I have entered this in the Words To Live By Challenge

I just found in the attic a cardboard box.Nothing valuable, probably.Simply a part of myself.Very old photos of the family.I often dreamed of some of them, but the face was blurred, like in a fog.I am happy when I go in your gallery.Watching the old photos of your family is a way to show us they are never quite dead. This was the first role of “scrap”.You allow me to share your memories.Thank you.
