My dad passed away 8 years ago the week before Thanksgiving. I always reflect on his time with me and his passing especially this time of year. He was only 51 and I was pregnant with my first child. He wanted to have granchildren so much. One day I know they'll meet.

I wish you could see his eyes in person. They were piercing blue and they only saw love!

My mom also died young, at 52, never having gotten to see any grandchildren. Like you, I believe that she'll get to meet them all someday! HUGS!!!

What a beautiful page! Such a sweet tribute to your Dad...he reminds me of those flashy, classy 1940's movie stars--so handsome...and I can tell you miss him very much...I know the feeling. My Dad has been gone since I was 17, so he never got to see his grandkids either. But, like you, I know he will one day, and I feel him close so much of the time. Especially, when MY grandkids are around :-)
