About this scrapbook page: |
These two Wedgetail Eagles were seen on my tracels back up the middle of the state to come home. The Eagles are accomplished hunters and also feed on dead animals hit by cars. This in turn makes them vulnerable to being hit by vehicles as well. Young eagles are dark, sometimes almost black. They turn brown between 12 & 18 months old as they mature and then slowly go oighter in colour.
