About this scrapbook page: |
I love this artist so I decided to scrap some of his art. For those who don't know, Piero Fornasetti lived in Milan, Italy 1913-1988. He was a painter, decorator, and designer with a sense of humor whose primary works are a series based on an image found in a 19th century french magazine of lina cavalieri, an opera starlet who was known as the worlds most beautiful woman. The plates designed were to become known as the Julia faces. Over 350 variations of the design were produced.
