About this scrapbook page: |
Engraved forever at ANZAC Cove are these words from Kemal Ataturk, the Commander of the Turkish 19th Division during the Gallipoli Campaign and the first President of the Turkish Republic from 1924-1938. I had relatives that had survived the wars and now my youngest son has just enlisted in the Army. This is for our ANZAC's and Rememberance Day 11/11.

Wow, fantastic tribute. Just amazing to see the photographs and read the words. Really beautiful. Mothers all over the world must feel the same way to send their sons into danger. Beautiful work.
