About this scrapbook page: |
This is my maternal grandmother. It is the only picture we have of her with dark hair. It turned pure white in her 20's. It is also the only colorized vintage photo I have in my collection. I guess they were rarer. The photo in the locket is her baby picture taken in 1917.

The kit used is "Vintage Ain't For Sissies" by Candee at Mermaids Haven (her blog). The colors in the kit I thought matched perfectly with the colors in the portrait.

Fantastic job! Just a note on the hair, I've been told it turns white from having a very high fever at an early age. My youngest son has white hairs since he was a toddler.
