For the colourful tree challenge.
This is a NZ native tree that grows mostly in the North Island. Because it blooms majestically over Christmas it has become known as the NZ Christmas tree. We are lucky to have this beautiful specimen growing in our front garden - the blue is our garage door. These are my photos.
