About this scrapbook page: |
Made in ScBA, combined all the images then converted the complete page in PaintNet but I'm a little disappointed the way the colours are displaying, think I should have made it a little darker. I would welcome any constructive criticism and/or solutions folks.

Sorry forgot to say in Effects/Render/Clouds you can apply pastel complementary colours to Primary & Secondary instead of Black/White but then select Colour Burn mode and push the two sliders for your desired effect xx (I'm really gone now LOL)

As long as you save a copy you are happy with before playing, then just go for it Pat, you can undo in both DSA & Pnet or delete at any time. For further PNet help just google for example Effects, BlendModes, Render etc & you are sure to find a really helpful YouTube tut - same goes for DSA/CAP - check the Tutorials tab on DaisyTrail. Hope this helps Pauline xxx

cont'd...it moves the light/shade around the page creating a dappled effect.Or, in Layers tab Duplicate Image which creates a 2nd identical copy under your top PNet layer.Back to Layers Tab & select Layer Properties/BlendMode Overlay & push the slider beneath to reduce brightness until you are happy. In DSA you can add a full paper over whole page.Select Transp/Plasma/Select then Burn or OLay blend

Pat this is a gorgeous page & through your experimenting you are developing a terrific style. I really like what you've done here the contrast between dark & light makes the core image really pop.In addition to Tracy's suggestions in PNet, try from Effects/Render/Clouds with colours set Pri/Black&Sec/White then select Overlay from the Render/Clouds options.Push the sliders for desired effect contd
