I am dedicating this to my precious Dad, paratrooper extraordinaire who passed away at the age of 91 on Sunday morning, a hero in my eyes always. He spent the war in Italy (British Army), first at Monte Casino then as a paratrooper in Raiding Support Regiment a forerunner for the SAS,fighting with the Partisans, I will love and miss him always.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad died in WWII so I never knew him. This is such a fabulous tribute page for all the brave men who served in that war.

I am sorry for the loss of your father. It isn't any easier when we are older to lose our parents.My father died when I was 21 and I still miss him every day. Thank you for adding this page to our challenge.
