About this scrapbook page: |
Shugborough Estate is only a 10 minute drive from my home and I love going there. The grounds are amazing with wonderful landscaped gardens, river walk, loads of sculptures and the widest Yew tree in the country. At 50 metres wide it dates back to 1659. The Shepherd's Monument brings visitors and code breakers from all over the world and is yet to be solved For the **Historical or Favourite site** Challenge

A wonderful page. I've read about the Shepherd's Monument. No one has ever quite deciphered the inscription as I recall? O U O S V A V V
