This page reminds me of my hubby telling me when he was about 12 or 14 he would jump the fence of the College of Aeronautics in Cranfield Bedford Shire and hide out in the long grass near the end of the runway to watch the planes...he has such a love for planes and flying - my husband wangled his way in to do some photography for the Lacombe Flying Club this year and got to stand just off the runway to take photos.
