I had never heard of this artist before, thanks for the info , very interesting read ,this is my entry for the ETRE challenge,I cut out the statue, changed it in comic book effects,also changed the effects in the photograph...hope ive done it right..

the back ground papers are from a kit called ABBIE, which is a kit that was made for charity( breast cancer awareness) which i think is still available from kreative designs by karen.
