The shipping forecast is a four times daily broadcast by the BBC on Radio 4. In addition to the importance for sailors, the broadcast has something of a cult following as listeners find the repetiton of the different shipping areas very soothing and calming, unlike the seas....

Produced in DSA2 with images from the net, images taken through photolab for different effects and the map of the shipping areas elipsed.
