About this scrapbook page:
I love this photo, I think it´s perfect and one of the best pics I ever took of my son. Yet, I think this page is rather dark and looks a bit uncheerful. The dark red in the circle should have been a contrast, but I don´t see that works. I´d rather not want to recolor the picture, but maybe you´ve got some nicer ideas to make it brighter?
I also don´t need to use this template, I just liked it but I´m not sure. Thanks to y´all!

i have this same template ...lol.. your layout is grat but the title seems a little lost on the page ...not sure wether it needs a different font or bigger...the background is a little distracting from the photo...i would leave it white and let the red circle and crown pop off the page that way....well done i love it

hint with the eye that´s reading left to right - this is something I now will think of with any page! I never thought about it before, but I absolutely agree. Ladies, you´re all great! Thank you so much, give me some weeks, and I´l post you my new page!

Thank you so much for your multiple comments! I knew you would have useful ideas to help me, though :-) I think I´ll make the pic larger, as suggested by judy, and make the crown smaller (though I don´t think I´ll delete the crown, I don´t know why, but I like it).
Blakesmommy, I LOVE the idea of a gold tone and making it pop, I´m working on this, yet I only get it beige... Julia: Thanks for the

I LOVE the stitching around it. And those blue eyes are so cute that I love the color combinations you have chosen. I am afraid my novel experience is insufficient to help you. I think it looks great and don’t have any ideas for improvements. If it is possible to make the picture larger without it getting pixilated then that is a good suggestion that others have offered. But ilike to look now

PS You are right those photo is brilliant and if you want to leave it the page doesn't necessarily need to be changed, only for learning would I change it.

In design the eye tries to go to the top left hand corner (we read left to right) you could try redesigning it with the pic in that corner. Plus as others say make pic slightly bigger, crown and button slightly smaller. And try just to see how it looks choosing the green from his top as the background (or a colour very near).

You have lots of great suggestions. The main thing I think is that I agree with Judy, the crown tends to pull focus away from the beautiful photo - crown smaller (or gone) and photo bigger would add a lot! Great photo - he is such a cutie!!

it think its great but i agree with angel, Just make the photo a smidge bigger, and a smaller button, But maybe if you change the circle to a green tone like his shirt, It would complament, and make it pop? ♥
Either way, its a GREAT picture, He is TOOO cute
