For the 'Inventions that Changed the World' challenge. Polio was a terrible thing, especially since it attacked children. I vividly remember how grateful the nation was to Dr. Salk when he found a vaccine that worked. Dr. Sabin's vaccine soon followed, but it was Dr, Salk who had made the breakthrough.

I agree a very good invention, although my friends mum did not get her vaccinated and unfortunately she got Polio, She has a bad leg because of it:( I love your page 10+10cps

Very nice layout. I remember standing in line to get the Polio vaccine. Must have been in the very early 60s.
