For the Favorite Season Challenge. Autumn's my fav, despite winter following it!

The Wick House is part of Jockey Hollow, Morristown (NJ) National Historical Park. I grew up about 5 miles from here and visited often. During the Revolutionary War, this locale was used twice for winter encampments. Rumor had it that Tempe hid her horse from the Brits IN the house so they wouldn't take it.
