She began her career on Broadway (1911) and made her debut in the Ziegfeld Follies in 1913.She actually stopped the show when she danced for Ziegfeld in his 1913 Follies.It was no wonder that she quickly rose as one Ziegfeld's top stars of the show and sometimes earning a salary of $1000 per week
