Created for The Heirloom Challenge. The wording reads: This pencil drawing was found in the attic of my husband's grandparents home in Napanoch, NY and hung on the wall by the stairs in their home for many years. When my husband was little he used to sit on the stairs and stare at it all the time. It is a drawing of an old paper mill that burned down many, many years ago. It is signed Sarah Schoonmaker 1865. It now hangs in our home and it is amazing that is has survived 145 years.
