this page was done for the sureal challenge. A bit confronting. My daugther was in a group for a time that was self harming. The person made up of metal parts tied together with rope, represent me, falling in to depression feeling heavy not knowing how to deal with the situation. With the constant fear that she would do serious damage, represented by the heart with the wings and ice cubes. She is no longer involved with this thank goodness.

I am so glad that your daughter has come through this...it must have been very frightening for you...your page is so well done withyour blending and the troubled looking face in the upper corner as well. The addition of that razor blade is a cold stark reminder of the self harming is all about....you have illustrated this page so well...a very powerful page!
