July 27, 2010. We went on the Columbia Icefield Tour that took us onto Athabasca Glacier. Here, we are standing on over 1000 feet thick ice. It was a fantastic day to visit, clear skies, no blizzard like last summer lol, and despite the ice and snow, it was a decent temperature lol. The top left photo shows part of the road we took.
