I created this page for the "FEARS" challenge. Ever since I was thrown into a pool when I was a child and almost drowned, I've been unable to overcome my phobia.I love to LOOK at and PADDLE in the water but am afraid to let myself go and learn to swim. I dream I can swim and love it but although both my sons have pools at their homes I just can't take that last toe off the bottom and float around. It makes me sad that I can't join the rest of the family in swimming together.

Created with Scrapbook Flair software.Both photos were taken in Bali a couple of weeks ago. There are beautiful water views everywhere and I enjoyed photographing them. (BEST VIEWED ENLARGED, I THINK.)

Wow...how terrifying. My mom was terrified of drowning all her life after a fortune teller told her when she was young that she would drown! So, she would never swim... I know it sounds strange...but she really believed it might happen.
