This photo of my mother and her grandfather was made 65 years ago on my parents wedding. My greatgrandparents had many granddaughters and it was his wish to give away at least one of them. My mother was the one who forfilled his wish. I knew about this photo as I have seen it when I was a child, but thought it was lost. One of my nieces found a copie in her grandmother`s (my mother`s sister) box with old photo`s and shared it.
