About this scrapbook page:
Entered in 'Joan of arc' challenge

Joan was the patron saint of soldiers and France. At 13 she heard saintly voices telling her to go to the King and help him. She went disguised as a man. At 17 raised an army and won many battles. A truce was signed. She made some statements that infuriated those that had signed the truce. She was condemned. At 19 she was burned at the stake ... Exonerated of all guilt 30 yrs after her death. She was canonized as a Saint in 1920 by Pope Benedict XV.
