Made for Shirley's "Favorite recipe" challenge. My family love this cake and I have taken it many times to church and never bring any home. Sometimes I just sprinkle with powdered sugar rather than making a glaze.

My mom used to make this cake, when done she would poke holes with a fork and pour apricot juice in it then make the glaze with apricot juice and powdered sugar! I LOVE IT!!
