About this scrapbook page: |
Made for the Favorite Recipe Challenge. I make this a lot in the winter and when asked to bring a dish to a family function. I change the vegetable ingredients sometimes adding spinach, green or red peppers and or mushrooms. I have also made it combining the meat mixture and vegetable mixture instead of separating them; or I have made it using only the meat sauce or only the vegetable version. But always using lowfat or nonfat products. Please enlarge to see recipe.

The good thing about this recipe is that it works for both meat eaters and vegetarians.. .depending on which side you scoop from. It is hard to mess up this dish. I had trouble writing this down because after years of making lasagna I just buy the ingredients and throw it together, but it always gets rave reviews. This version makes a large baking pan (see picture). The top picture is Jack's mom, Amy, at Thanksgiving. Thanks for looking and for all your comments and support.

Oh, yummy.... I'm going to cook this today, in spite of us being in the middle of a tremendous HEAT WAVE..! It looks so mouth-watering and sounds so simple that even I couldn't mess it up. (I'm not such a great cook) Lovely attractive page. NADIA IN PERTH
