My Grandfather from my Father's side who lived in Canton Appenzell (Schonengrund) Switzerland...I only met him once for a very brief week or so, when I was about twelve or thirteen years old. Inset photos of Grandfather and his home in Switzerland that he was so proud of. I love the large photo of my Grandfather holding his pipe,unfortunately it is difficult to see...I remember as a child being so impressed with his pipe, as it was quite a fancy one.

Background was blended with a couple of Vera Lim papers, and a map of Switzerland and a Swiss stamp (both downloads from the internet) I also used Studo Manu Texture overlay, overlays from Vera Lim; flower from Raspberry Road Vintage Peddlar
