About this scrapbook page: |
I created this page about my DH's Aunt Marie and the bravery of her life choices for a woman in the 40's and 50's - single and supporting herself by working in the most masculine of environments, an Air Force Base. Doesn't sound like so much by today's standards, but WOW - for the 40's & 50's - what a brave & independant woman!

Yes, times sure have changed! I have recently 'liberated' myself from the stereotype image a woman of my age used to have, much to the dismay of certain members of my family! Great page.
