Sam had an extremely long and difficult birth ending in a medical emergency with Shannon completely wedged. They whisked her off and left Sam and I alone with no support imagining the worst. On realising our fears they said 'of course she's all right. Just a broken collar bone.

What a beautiful and dear photo of Baby Shannon. I can only imagine how those words "She's alright" sunk into the depths of your heart. We take so much for granted in life, and then we are suddenly reminded of how quickly we could be faced with really painful things. I'm so thankful everything truly was alright. A beautiful interpretation of this quote and a beautiful page.
